TUDUM first took place in Brazil in 2020 as an event that celebrated 10 years of Netflix in Brazil and Latin America. On September 25, 2021, this would be expanded to a three-hour virtual global event, where several announcements were made by Netflix. These announcements include teasers, trailers, first looks, date announcements, clips, interviews and exclusive behind the scenes clips from our favourite Netflix shows.

Movies Announcements at TUDUM
Red Notice
An Interpol-issued Red Notice is a global alert to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted. But when a daring heist brings together the FBI’s top profiler (Dwayne Johnson) and two rival criminals (Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds), there’s no telling what will happen. Red Notice, described as Netflix’s biggest movie till date, arrives on the platform on November 12.
The Harder They Fall
The Harder They Fall is an upcoming western about an outlaw (Jonathan Majors) who reunites his gang to seek revenge on the man (Idris Elba) who murdered his parents. Set to be released on October 6.
Jeen-yuhs
Filmed over two decades, jeen-yuhs is an intimate and revealing portrait of Kanye’s experience, showcasing both his formative days trying to break through and his life today as a global brand and artist. Coming to Netflix in 2022.
Extraction 2
Tyler Rake returns. Directed by Sam Hargrave, this action-packed franchise is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of Avengers: Endgame.#RakeLives
Murder Mystery
The Adam Sandler and Jeniffer Aniston led movie will return for a second part in an “international adventure full of intrigue and hijinks”.
Army of Thieves
Serving as a prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead, a mysterious woman recruits bank teller Dieter to help her crew crack three legendary safes across Europe. Only on Netflix on October 29. Watch the trailer
Don’t Look Up
Netflix released an exclusive clip featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Rob Morgan, and Jonah Hill from the upcoming film about a comet on a deadly collision course with earth. The Adam McKay directed comedy movie premieres on December 24.
Enola Holmes
Millie Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge will be back in Enola Holmes 2.
TV Shows Announcements at TUDUM
Stranger Things
With a noticeable shift expected from previous seasons, fans were treated to an exclusive new look at Stranger Things in a new world. The fourth season of the critically-acclaimed series returns in 2022.
Money Heist
An exclusive new clip of Money Heist’s final part, coming on Netflix on December 3. The gang was left in a precarious position after the fourth part, how do they move on without a rigid plan? Or is that all part of Professor’s plan?
Ozark
The Byrdes have a new boss after the bloody ending to season 3. Netflix promises that the stakes have never been higher in the upcoming final fourth season, coming in 2022 in two different parts.
Sex Education
After the recent third season, the show’s fourth season was announced at the event. The ‘horny’ students of Moordale are returning to our screens.
Bridgerton
In an exclusive look at Bridgerton season 2, we see the newly introduced character played by Simone Ashley, set to be the female lead opposite Jonathan Bailey. The second season will chronicle the pursuit of a suitable marriage for the eldest Bridgerton sibling, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), adapted from the second book of Quinn’s Bridgerton series, ‘The Viscount Who Loved Me’. Coming in 2022.
The Sandman
From the highly anticipated fantasy series based on the DC comic book series by Neil Gaiman. A release date remains unattached, but Netflix promises it is coming soon.
Cobra Kai
Decades after the tournament that changed their lives, the rivalry between Johnny and Daniel reignites in this sequel to the “Karate Kid” films. Season 4 arrives on December 31.
Vikings: Valhalla
Set as a spinoff to Vikings, a new era of warriors will rise in Vikings: Valhalla, coming to Netflix in 2022.
Arcane
This is a new trailer for the new animated series—from the creators of League of Legends— Arcane, coming to Netflix this November.
Tiger King
Are you prepared for another dose of Tiger King’s mayhem, cos we definitely weren’t prepared for the first season that took the world by storm in 2020. It returns on November 17, 2021.
Cowboy Bebop
Fans were treated to the title sequence from the upcoming live-action series about a ragtag crew of bounty hunters chasing down the galaxy’s most dangerous criminals. The anime adaptation premieres on November 19.
Emily in Paris
Season 2 of the hit series set in Paris premieres on December 22.
The Crown
An introduction to the new Queen Elizabeth played by Imelda Staunton. The Crown season 5 arrives in November 2022.
The Umbrella Academy
The stars of the superhero series answer fans’ questions in this behind the scenes clip.
Colin in Black and White
The limited series about the life of Colin Kaepernick arrives on Netflix on October 29. Watch an exclusive clip.
Big Mouth
With a newly released teaser art, Big Mouth season 5 premieres on November 5. Guest voice stars include Brandon Kyle Goodman, Keke Palmer and Pamela Adlon.
Inside Job
An official trailer for this new animated series about employees of the Deep State who are tasked with keeping conspiracy theories under wraps. October 22 is the premiere date.
The Witcher
Fans got exclusive season 2 clips from Netflix during the TUDUM global event. Other announcements were made: The Witcher Season 3, a second anime feature film, and a new Kids and Family series set in the world of The Witcher. First of all, season 2 arrives on December 17.
