Guguru Media is joining forces with Genti Media to produce first of its kind radio drama, Murder on Space X. While the acoustic format isn’t new, it is the medium, an X (formerly known as Twitter) Space, through which the drama will be broadcasted that piques one’s senses.
As the title implies, listeners can expect Murder On Space X to be a murder mystery audio drama that tells the story of the dysfunctional Chief Macaulay family. With each member of the family nursing their vendettas, the patriarch’s fate hangs in the balance. As dinner unfolds, a deadly scheme reaches its climax, leaving everyone in the family as a suspect in the mystery of his demise. As a whodunnit, the drama will look to explore their motive & the person who holds the key to Mr. Jude’s final moments.
The voice actors of Murder on Space X include Guguru Media’s newly signed talents: Jude Chukwuka as Chief Jude Macaulay, Onajite Dede as Mrs. Macaulay, Obi Maduegbuna as Obi, Sharon Rotimi as Sharon, Kanyinsola Eros as Kanyin, and Iremide Adeoye as Mide.
Murder on Space X is co-written by Toye Ogunwole and Mautin Tairu, who developed closely with Ogunwole. The unconventional scripted production promises a captivating voice-acting experience.
Guguru Media is a Nollywood Talent Management Agency. Genti Media is a media platform dedicated to showcasing African audio content, boasting over 10,000 hours of content library in 15 languages led by voices like Ahmed Isah Koko, Elma Mbadiwe, Chiwetalu Agu, and Uzor Arukwe.
The pilot episode of Murder on Space X will take place on X (Twitter) Space on a yet-to-be-revealed date in May, providing a ground to test-run the viability of the drama series that intends to go on for a while.
