On the note that many readers suggested that we enhance our branding, citing our “funny use” of colours, steps have been taken to that effect.

What Kept Me Up’s new branding was designed by Iyebiye ‘Kaizen Kreativ’ Adeitan.

Our new branding was engineered by creative illustrator Iyebiye ‘Kaizen Kreativ’ Adeitan, who has conceived more lively iterations of the colours that you already know us for. Apart from the updated colours, we are also presenting updated logo variations (logomark and wordmark). The logomark will be seen most frequently on all of our graphics henceforth, while the wordmark will have a place at the top of our blog and initial film events where we are onboard as a partner.

Nothing drastic will change in our content and direction. What Kept Me Up remains the same audience-oriented platform, while boasting a more distinct personality. Yes, our new brand shows more character and we know you will feel the same way. Most importantly, it should be recognizable anywhere and anytime you see it at home and abroad.

Our new motto “Beyond the screen, into conversations” represents our commitment to being open to every opinion and perspective about films as we make our mark on the growth of the Nigerian film culture. To know our filmmakers, production companies and their offerings better, every WKMUp content has an educative and entertaining drive behind it.
