WKMUp is pleased to announce Hope Eniayekan as the new assistant editor amidst multimedia expansion.
Hope will work hand-in-hand with Ikeade Oriade, the managing editor, to form an editorial team that will conceive and execute insightful stories and essays within the ever-exciting Nigerian film industry.
Hope’s experience in film includes publishing at the Film Rats Club, where she was also involved in festival organization. Moreover, she is a filmmaker and screenwriter whose words reflect her passion for the industry.
WKMUp managing editor Oriade shares in a statement, “Hope arrives with a deep love for the industry. Equipped with her various experiences across filmmaking, project management and publishing, I’m glad to have her voice and perspective added to our publication’s output.”
He adds, “Very soon, WKMUp readers will see our expanded ideas and formats on how we wish to cover the film industry.”
This new phase with an editorial team will push more original stories and content repurposing across platforms for a unified voice. Most visibly, it has kickstarted with the soft launch of WKMUp’s YouTube channel where exciting video content can be expected in the coming months alongside a full launch.
