Funke Akindele ushers in the December comedy season with her return to the Jenifa franchise with a new title Everybody Loves Jenifa. The film follows Jenifa as a now-established humanitarian who finds herself entangled in one hot water after another. Thin Line

This holiday season Thin Line, directed by Akay Mason and produced by Mercy Aigbe hits the cinemas. The film, teased as a journey of self-discovery involving a Pastor caught in a sex scandal with a sex worker. Disaster Holiday

In this Disaster Holiday, a dad trying to win over his kids promises an exotic vacation but secretly reroutes the family to Durban instead of Zanzibar to attend a big work meeting. Under the guise of a family road trip, their dream getaway spirals into chaos as he scrambles to secure a promotion while managing the unravelling trip. Alakada returns to the big screen with Alakada: Bad and Boujee, the fifth installment in Toyin Abraham’s popular comedic franchise. Produced by Abraham herself, the film features Bimbo Akintola, Kie-kie, Ronke Odusanya, Ik Ogbonna and Bimbo Ademoye.

Christmas In Lagos

Jade Osiberu is back with a new romantic drama coming to Prime Video. It follows Fiyin who after a heartbreak  is convinced her best friend Elo is her soulmate and Gbemi who’s torn between her longtime boyfriend and a former lover and high school sweetheart. Kraven the Hunter

 Kraven the Hunter, the third installment in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, brings the Marvel Comic’s anti-hero to life exploring Kraven’s complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff starting him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared. Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the titular Kraven, the film also features Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott, and Russell Crowe. Six Triple Eight

Six Triple Eight is a war drama film written, produced, and directed by Tyler Perry, chronicling the story of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion—an all-Black, all-female battalion from World War II. The film, inspired by Kevin M. Hymel’s 2019 historical article on the battalion, stars Kerry Washington, Oprah Winfrey, Sam Waterston, and Susan Sarandon. It will be released on Netflix.

Mufasa: The Lion King 

Mufasa: The Lion King, a prequel to the iconic film The Lion King, heads to cinemas.
