New Trailer Release for Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse

The trailer for Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse has been released. The movie stars Michael B. Jordan as a war tortured soul who has lost his wife to assassins. In a John Wick-esque trope, he sets out on a devastating rampage against the murderers of his wife.

The trailer is peppered throughout with the aplomb Jordan and various blood pumping action sequences. From a personal vendetta against his wrongdoers, Kelly’s quest transforms into a full-blown protection of the United States of America.

The movie is directed by Stefano Sollima from a screenplay by Taylor Sheridan and Will Staples. Alongside Michael B Jordan, the movie also stars Lauren London, Brett Gelman, Jacob Scipio, Jack Kesy, Colman Domingo, Todd Lassance, Cam Gigandet, Luke Mitchell and Guy Pearce.

Without Remorse will be released to Amazon Prime on April 30.

While it is well-known that action flicks will bring in returns, CW has taken what appears to be a great leap.

With less than five episodes released, it has been confirmed that a second season has been greenlit for CW’s Superman & Lois. It is amongst the fastest renewals for a debut series. CW made a similar move with The Flash in 2014 after its debut.

Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and CEO of The CW Network, said,“The phenomenal multiplatform debut of Superman & Lois, which delivered for us in a big way on both a linear and streaming basis, is a testament to the creativity, hard work and dedication of the talented people who worked tirelessly in front of and behind the camera, especially in this challenging environment.

“We are thrilled to now have two brand-new bonafide hits in Superman and Walker, both of which have been renewed for next season along with 11 other of our shows, further positioning us for continued strength and stability for next season.”

Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch as its titular characters.

In an equally interesting Hollywood reveal, this time about the 1988 comedy film, Coming to America, the lead duo, Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall, during a recent visit to “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” revealed that Louie Anderson was cast in Coming to America as McDowell’s employee Maurice because the studio insisted that a white comedian appear in the 1988 comedy.

“I love Louie, but I think we were forced to put Louie in it,” Hall said. “We were forced to put in a white person.”

Murphy added, “[The studio was] like, ‘There has to be a white person in the movie.’ I was like, ‘What?’ So who was the funniest white guy around? We knew Louie was cool, so that’s how Louie got in the movie.”

“It was official,” Hall continued. “I had a list. They gave me a list with three white guys. They said, ‘Who would you rather work with?’ I said Louie.”

Coming 2 America stars Murphy and Hall alongside James Earl Jones and franchise newcomers Jermaine Fowler, Leslie Jones, Kiki Layne, and Tracy Morgan amongst others.

Coming 2 America launches on Amazon Prime Video this Friday, March 5.
