I’m pitching to you Legends of Tomorrow. With three completed seasons and a faltering first season, Legends of Tomorrow finally staked it place as the best DC adapted series on TV at the end of its third season.
It’s all light-hearted, doesn’t take itself serious and badass at the same time, with a group of heroes preferably called legends aging from youth to old, with personality of meek to menace and romantic life also ranging from straight to curve.
You’ll definitely find your type to root for and cheer on every week among them.
Do we talk about the Oldie/Teenie duo called the firestorm, Ray Palmer turned to Atom who shrinks in size, the ever eccentric but the last wish of a Naija parent, Heatwave, the on and off meister himself known as Rip hunter or the badass ready to lead female league of assassins trained fighter, Sarah, the “I touch my amulet, I possess any animal power” superhero, vixen, the knowledgeable historian, citizen steel and a bunch of memorable recurring cool cast that you come across from different time travels.
I am more of a Heatwave guy tho.

This group of heroes are in charge of keeping everything with time; past and the future in check, they’re like the NATO of our today, yesterday and history as a whole. Though we’re constantly being annoyingly reminded of the dangers of how slight changes in the events of the past could affect the future called aberrations which is often so tempting for this wacky group of superheroes. Often times, they stand as their own enemies when they interfere with personal events of the past. If i get a chance to connect myself with Jeff Bezos as a family from the past, how dare you tell me that might rob him the chance of being the rich man that he is today, you’re calling me the badluck? Or you’re telling me Nigerian politicians won’t still be corrupt only if it stops Donald trump from being the president of the USA, then I’d back off. At the end of the day, it’s all about which chain of events affect the other and finding a way to find the safest way out.

With complex connections, chain of events like that and the sweet apple like temptations to transform one thing or the other from their past or their dead like future, it keeps us on our toes to know where else the waverider (their elon musk developed timeship) is going to be headed. With a well fed Siri, nurtured Alexa on board known as Gideon (you don’t want to miss where the AI comes to life💚), we’re sure they’re guided through their time journey with directional help, food, clothing, time facts, etc needed at any particular phase of their journey.

With the excitement from moving from one era to another, I’d say it’s another medium to improve on that vague history knowledge of yours and with comical help, tools and representation it sticks right well in the brain. Who doesn’t want to see a George Lucas(Star Wars creator) from the past? Or the sad slavery era and the war to end it. Or a young president Obama being kidnapped by Gorilla Grodd. There’s just one time in history that can’t be traveled to or more of MUST NOT, eeyah, you’ve to continue reading your Bible stories to learn about that. (But do the legends ever listen?)

Gideon, please can you show this reader a proof that he/she has to start watching legends of tomorrow in the coming weeks to make their first billion at the age of 30… No doubt!

Legends of Tomorrow season 4 premiered last night. For the love of Beebo, you should really hop on the waverider with me.

Bis Bald!
