When a dangerous group kidnaps people in the city, Uyi joins a special team to find their secret hideout and stop them. Produced by Ocean Portal Entertainment, the police drama stars Ifeanyi Azodo, Karo Benedict, Yvonne Jegede and Kenneth Ibeanusi. Coming to cinemas nationwide. 

To Adaego With Love

Set in 1975, the film tells the story of a soldier and a schoolteacher from opposing tribes who fall in love amid a nation still recovering from civil war and societal divisions. Their relationship is tested by tradition, family loyalties, and a society striving to heal.

The film features lead performances from Chisom Agoawuike and Adam Garba, supported by Chioma Chukwuka, Bob Manuel Udokwu, Riyo David, Demi Banwo, Tonia Chukwurah, Six Foot Plus, and the late Onyeka Onwenu, whose role marks one of her final screen appearances. The romance film, which premiered at 2025 AFRIFF, where it won Best Screenplay and Best Feature Film, will be available in cinemas nationwide. 

Yoh! Bestie

Yoh! Bestie follows Thando, a woman who has struggled with love and dating, as she faces unexpected feelings when her best friend Charles returns from travel,s accompanied by his fiancée. As old connections and emotions edge closer to the surface at a destination wedding in scenic Knysna, Thando must confront what she really wants from love and friendship. The South African film features Katlego Lebogang as Thando and Siya Sepotokele as Charles, with performances from Didi Makobane and Fikile Mthwalo. The romantic comedy will stream on Netflix.

Love and New Notes

Set against the backdrop of Nigeria’s currency devaluation in 1984, the story follows Boma and his pregnant wife as they make difficult choices to survive financially. When they get involved in a risky plan tied to robbery and deception, unexpected forces complicate their lives. Directed by Kayode Kasum and starring Odunlade Jonathan Adekola, Eniola Badmus, Timini Egbuson, and Sophie Alakija, Love and New Notes premieres in cinemas nationwide.

The Naked Gun

The return of The Naked Gun franchise stars Liam Neeson as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. in a legacy sequel directed by Akiva Schaffer and produced by Seth MacFarlane. The Ghost and the Darkness

Set in East Africa during the construction of a railway bridge in 1898, The Ghost and the Darkness (1996) follows British engineer Lt. Colonel John Henry Patterson and legendary big‑game hunter Charles Remington as they pursue two man‑eating lions that have been killing workers and threatening the entire project. Val Kilmer stars as Patterson, tasked with completing the bridge on time under immense pressure, and Michael Douglas plays Remington, whose tracking skills are put to the ultimate test against the fearsome beasts. Sweethearts

Directed by Roger Kumble, the English-language Italian original stars Mia Jenkins as June, Pepe Barroso Silva as James, and Luca Melucci as Will. Premieres on Prime Video. 

Tyler Perry’s Joe’s College Road Trip

Tyler Perry’s Joe’s College Road Trip arrives as a new chapter in the long‑running Madea universe. Written, directed, produced by, and starring Tyler Perry, the film finally places Joe Simmons, Madea’s outspoken brother, at the heart of the story after years of scene‑stealing supporting roles. Joe takes his grandson B.J. Simmons (Jermaine Harris) on a coast‑to‑coast journey to explore college opportunities. Heart Eyes

On Valentine’s Day, Ally McCabe (Olivia Holt) and her colleague Jay Simmonds (Mason Gooding) find themselves mistaken for a couple by a dangerous killer known as the Heart Eyes Killer. An ordinary workday quickly turns into a fight for survival filled with unexpected twists and growing tension between the two.

Bride Hard

Rebel Wilson plays Sam, a secret agent who has missed important moments with her best friend because of her job. When Sam arrives as the maid of honour at her friend’s big wedding in Savannah, things quickly go wrong. A group of armed attackers takes the wedding guests hostage, and Sam must use her skills to protect everyone and save the day.

Anna Camp, Anna Chlumsky, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Justin Hartley star in supporting roles in the comedy-drama directed by Simon West. Watch it on Showmax.

Firebreak

Set against the eerie backdrop of a forest on the brink of disaster, Firebreak follows Mara and her extended family as they return to a secluded woodland retreat after the death of her husband, hoping to find some peace and closure. Their fragile attempt at healing collapses when Mara’s young daughter suddenly disappears into the trees at the very moment a vast wildfire erupts nearby. Companion follows Iris (Sophie Thatcher) and her boyfriend Josh, played by Jack Quaid, who travel with friends to a remote lakeside house, but their weekend plans take a dark turn when unexpected violence forces a truth into the open. It soon becomes clear that Iris is not who she seems; she is a highly advanced robot created to fulfil a “girlfriend experience,” and the group must reckon with her nature and the consequences of tampering with her programming. The Bluff

The Bluff stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden, a woman who once lived as a pirate in the 19th‑century Caribbean. Dangerous Animals 

Dangerous Animals follows Zephyr, a surfer whose life changes when she is taken by a man obsessed with sharks. She wakes up on his boat with no way off, and he plans to feed her to the sharks below unless she can find a way to get free. Starring Hassie Harrison, Jai Courtney, and Josh Heuston, the 2025 horror thriller premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Now available on Showmax.

Paul McCartney: Man on the Run

Paul McCartney: Man on the Run arrives on Prime Video, giving fans a close look at what happened after The Beatles broke up. The film follows Paul McCartney as he starts fresh, forms the band Wings with his wife Linda, and works through real emotional and creative challenges in the 1970s. The documentary features rare and unseen footage, old recordings, and interviews that show his thoughts on making music again, the early days of Wings, and how he dealt with doubts and pressure in a time of big change.

Scream 7

Scream 7 continues the long‑running horror franchise with a new chapter directed by Kevin Williamson. The Lincoln Lawyer S4

This season picks up right after the shocking end of Season 3, when Mickey Haller finds a dead body in the trunk of his car and is accused of murder. The story is based on Michael Connelly’s book The Law of Innocence, so we’ll see Mickey and those close to him trying to uncover who set him up and why. 56 Days

Based on a best-selling novel by Catherine Ryan Howard, the eight-episode series follows Oliver Kennedy (Avan Jogia) and Ciara Wyse (Dove Cameron), who meet by chance in a supermarket and begin a fast, intense relationship. Fifty-six days after they meet, police find a dead body in Oliver’s apartment and must figure out what happened. As detectives investigate, the series shows pieces of the couple’s relationship, raising big questions about trust, love, and danger. The show also stars Karla Souza and Dorian Missick in supporting roles. Developed for television by Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher, 56 Days will stream on Prime Video.
