EbonyLife Group’s highly anticipated digital platform, EbonyLife ON+, has officially re-launched, marking the next era of digital entertainment and lifestyle brand for Mo Abudu since the international streaming investment slowdown in the region.
With the relaunch of ON+, Abudu aims to do more by intertwining films, podcasts, behind-the-scenes documentaries, and even masterclasses for interested audiences across Nigeria and the continent.

At launch, EbonyLife ON+ is expected to open with the digital release of Kayode Kasum’s Ajosepo, a 2024 family comedy that follows the lives of a young couple and the chaos they have to contend with on the eve of their wedding, and Dust to Dreams, a short film directed by Idris Elba that made its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival’s Short Cuts program. They will be joined by movies and series like Abudu’s directorial debut duo Her Perfect Life, Iyawo Mi; Baby Farm, Black, Brilliant & Bold, and more.
EbonyLife ON+ will also be bringing original podcasts into the fold. Listeners can look forward to Moments with Mo, Mo & Ted Podcast, and What Women Really Think. These podcasts aim to expand EbonyLife’s conversational reach by combining entertainment, lifestyle, and culture.
Beyond streaming, the platform will be branching off to fashion (EbonyLife Runway), and Masterclasses (Passion, Purpose, Vision) that will be hosted by Mo Abudu herself. An AI-powered lifestyle app called Elev8 is going to be a part of the platform, and it promises features like skill scanning, digital coaching, styling assistant, and much more.
Unlike traditional streaming platforms, EbonyLife ON+ introduces a membership model rather than standard subscriptions. For the Nigerian audience, annual membership is 12,000 naira while monthly membership costs 1,500 naira, and for the rest of Africa and the diaspora, the price varies.
By connecting film, lifestyle and culture, EbonyLife On+ is creating a platform for subscribers to watch, listen to stories and somehow actively be a part of them.
Previously announced Abudu’s EbonyLife Place London is expected to open its doors in 2026 Q2.
