Happy new year to my readers. This signals a year that this blog has gone live. To celebrate this milestone, I promised to pop some Caprisonne- those who remember must have been waiting for this moment. Our Caprisonne in this case would be a giveaway where there would be just ONE winner taking it all home. Are you ready? Multiple heads might be better than one in this case, so grab your TV buddy over and play together for higher chances of winning and maybe share the winnings with him or her. Giveaway instructions: The image above is a mashup of stars of various TV shows from 2018. Some might argue they are mainstream, successful, flops or on the low. Doesn’t matter this time. Name as many as you can and the respective TV shows they starred in. Either on twitter (using this link) or the response box below. Have fun! Winning participant is the…

Some weeks ago, out of late night curiosity, boredom and interest, I was going through Netflix’s job search page hoping I’d find an internship space or even a job category that fits my type – greatest procrastinator?, Unsuccessfully managed a blog page on things he claims to love? and other things you can characterize me as. That yielded to nothing of course.Interestingly, I found this job which I can’t really remember how it was tagged. But the job description and requirements, I remember so well and can summarize a bit here. The job requirement states ‘years of vast experience and knowledge…

You’re a fan of the DC Arrowverse? Do you watch and follow all closely? Great! Or you’re just into one? Yes? Then I bet you’re watching the wrong show in the Arrowverse. I’m pitching to you Legends of Tomorrow. With three completed seasons and a faltering first season, Legends of Tomorrow finally staked it place as the best DC adapted series on TV at the end of its third season. It’s all light-hearted, doesn’t take itself serious and badass at the same time, with a group of heroes preferably called legends aging from youth to old, with personality of meek to…

The Emmy Awards took place last night and first thing I’d say is 80% of my predictions were right. No mathematical calculations, no long formulas, I just did a few comparisons and I was good to go for an intro filled with ‘peacock-like-fly-your-feathers-and-let-it-shine’ boasting moments. Congrats to Game of Thrones and its members as they returned this year to sweep up everything down to the biggest award of the night, Outstanding Drama Series. Losers of the night were Atlanta, Handmaid’s Tale and This Is Us, not taking home so much despite the high number of nominations. I’d leave my predictions…

As promised, this is a post of my predictions for the 2018 Emmy awards which holds in about a week. As there are so many good shows out there these days, it would be really hard to pull them apart. These shows are too good and so much, in which case it would be hard for each losers to take in the defeat come September 17th. This year sees Netflix pip HBO to the top of the nominations list for the first time ever. As a big Netflix fan, this has got me excited for the future. My picks will…

SPOILER FREE!!! GO AHEAD, ENJOY YOUR TIME!!! After introducing ATLANTA the last time, you must have been wondering, “What’s with the ALL MEN series this dude is talking about.” I’m sorry, but I’m not Anti-feminist actually (not feminist either)  and we’ve actual ladies on Atlanta (strippers, the take-me-home ladies and the well formed baby mama). Steering away way from the “I want to make it” environment in Atlanta, we’re going on some adventure on another side of the USA. Sadly, Hollywood been letting us down recently.(story for another sitting) Insecure is comedy series set in L.A, following the life…

Yesterday, I shared my pick of the TV shows to look forward to later this year after a few trailers and teasers were released at the just concluded San Diego Comic Con. At the end of that post, if you reached that point, I promised to also share movie trailers that we got to see at the Convention. As Marvel decided to sit out the program,we didn’t get to see anything from Captain Marvel nor the final saga of the Infinity War. Nevertheless, there are still a few sweeties to enjoy and look forward to. AQUAMAN I wasn’t pumped, not…

San Diego Comic Con just concluded and we were treated to a number of new trailers and teasers for upcoming movies and TV Shows. I wasn’t so much pumped this year compared to last year where my notifications were on for every single updates. This probably happened cos Marvel decided to skip Comic Con this year in terms of reveals. Last year, we had Black Panther, Thor Ragnarok and The Avengers to look forward to. So every update had to be closely looked forward to and the reveals sure put a smile on our faces. So Marvel sitting it out…

With an increase in the number of series produced, and money forked out for new projects and ideas the day was bound to come. Netflix gains more nominations than HBO in 2018. “I was alive”, so I’d say. This serves as a reminder for HBO  who has dominated award seasons over the years that Netflix isn’t here to play, and we viewers are not giving out 10,99 monthly for nothing. OK, This is an Emmy nominations list post, and not time to once more show my obsession for Netflix. Let’s get to it, community. HBO’s “Game of Thrones” leads the…

As we are in the age of ranking and comparing, the colourful list of characters that appeared on our screens during ‘Atlanta season 2: Robbin’ Season’ pushed me into making this list. The adventure of Paperboi and the gang couldn’t have been told better without these characters. Whether they appeared on our screens for a few seconds or lasted a few episodes, we definitely all have our standout moments. Let’s kick off from the bottom to the top. 15. ‘The white guy who flashed his gun at earn’ (Episode 3) He didn’t have to say a word. Damn! Raising…
