Trailer: Dammy Twitch Makes His Feature Debut With Bluhouse Studios’ Romantic Comedy ‘Call of My Life’

Bluhouse Studios has released the official trailer for Call of My Life, the directorial feature debut from Dammy Twitch.

The romantic comedy follows Soluchi, a call‑centre agent still reeling from heartbreak after being left by her ex, Kalu. When a routine customer call connects her to Eli, a charming new presence in her life, Soluchi begins to reconsider what love can look like. Led by Uzoamaka Power, Zubby Michael, and Andrew Bunting, the supporting cast includes Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, Beverly Osu, Justin UG, and Broda Shaggi, with live performances from Johnny Drille and Cobhams Asuquo.

Shot on location in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu, Call of My Life was produced by Blessing Uzzi for Bluhouse Studios (Freedom Way), with a screenplay written by Uzoamaka Power. Uzoamaka Power and Andrew Bunting were recently seen together in My Body God’s Temple, a part of the Zikoko Life anthology, also written by Power and produced by Bluhouse Studios.

Dammy Twitch, known for directing commercials and music videos for Afrobeats artists including Burna Boy and Davido, previously directed the 2023 short film I Hate It Here. In a statement, Twitch spoke to his choice of a romance story as instinctive, as he wanted his first feature film to reflect his heart, which he describes as “rooted in love and happiness”.

This marks Bluhouse Studios’ second theatrical outing since their debut with Freedom Way last year.

Call of My Life is expected to hit cinemas later this year.
