Kamisi Adebisi’s Boys Like Us has wrapped principal photography on its second season, with the six-episode series expected to premiere on YouTube later this year.
Season 2 will continue the story of the four young men as they deal with financial difficulties, family drama, career choices and relationship issues. The decisions they make will have consequences as they navigate the next stage of their lives.
Adebisi returns as writer alongside Biodun Udom, who is also back as director. Precious Harry remains producer, while the new season will feature returning actors Kem Ajieh Ikechukwu, Oscar Chihurumnanya, Bobby Okoye, Leopatrick Nnubia, Dozie Uzoma, Paul Iremide and The Iconic Dumebi. New cast members are expected to be announced later.
Created by Adebisi, the first season of Boys Like Us premiered in October 2025. It followed four young men, Mofe (Ajieh Ikechukwu), Diamond (Chihurumnanya), Edible (Okoye) and Frank (Nnubia), who live together in Lagos. A weekend that begins with a surprise party takes a turn when the friends are drugged and robbed, leaving them to deal with the fallout while their relationships and living situation come under pressure.
The first season ran for four episodes and has attracted more than 400,000 views, while the positive response from viewers contributed to calls for a second season.
Season 2 of Boys Like Us will premiere on YouTube later in 2026.
