2021 Team Year-In-Review: Getting to Know Us

We are not robots, we are also humans. Thank you for 2021!


  1. What we did for the first time in 2021:

Expanded to a team of four.

Opened our doors to three interns.

Organized a special summer intern program

Increased our social media presence.

Got blocked by two directors on Twitter. That we know of, at least.

Attended two film festivals.

Conducted interviews. Debut being with Taiwo Egunjobi.

  1. Our future plans:

Publish more socially and politically aware reviews and essays.

Expand our team.

Open our doors to more interns.

Educate younger ones on film.

Promote cinema culture in various ways.

Provide a platform for more filmmaking creatives.

Provide a platform for other crew members beyond directors.

Conduct more interviews.

Dive into the world of Nollywood web series.

Publish more news.

Accept more guest essay submissions

Attend more film festivals.

Discover and meet more filmmakers.

Open a YouTube channel, maybe?
