Marvel’s Black Panther film director, Ryan Coogler, and his filmmaking outfit, Proximity Media, have signed a new five-year television deal with Disney to develop television projects. Skydance Media has announced that it has optioned the rights to reimagine the beloved children franchise, Spy Kids. This will be achieved in conjunction with Spyglass Media Group and the creator of the franchise, Robert Rodriguez. Robert Rodriguez will write and direct the new Spy Kids film while Spyglass’ Gary Barber and Peter Oillataguerre will serve in the office of executive producer. Microsoft has recently acquired the license “to make a chatbot using the personal information of deceased people.” This would grant Microsoft the liberty of creating an AI (Artificial Intelligence) “based on images, voice, data, social media posts, electronic messages, and more personal information” of the deceased.
