Netflix titles, like highly anticipated EbonyLife’s Blood Sisters, GreoH Studios’ Ayinla and Tunde Kelani’s 2014 sickle cell drama Dazzling Mirage, pave the way for more Nollywood offerings in May. In cinemas, Inkblot’s romcom, The Perfect Arrangement, and Bidoun Stephen’s The Wildflower will premiere. Foreign titles set to premiere are Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and indie sensation Everything Everywhere All at Once. TV shows Stranger Things and Love, Death and Robots return on Netflix, Obi-Wan Kenobi lands on Disney+, Apple TV+ spy drama Tehran, and HBO Max’s comedy-drama Hacks return for their sophomore season.

Operation Mincemeat; Colin Firth stars in this world war 2 drama on Netflix. Release date: May 11. 
Our Father; Blumhouse production presents this documentary film that finds a fertility doctor in a DNA scandal. Release date: May 11, on Netflix. 
Senior Year; Rebel Wilson stars in this high school coming-of-age comedy. Release date: May 13, on Netflix. 
The Perfect Arragement; In this Naz Onuzo-directed romcom, a lady is stuck in deciding who she wants to be with between two brothers played by Bovi and Pere Egbi. Release date: May 13, in cinemas. 
Everything Everywhere All At Once; this mind-bending indie sensation by the directing duo Daniels, sees an original multiverse black comedy madness come to life. Release date: May 13, in cinemas. 
Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers; Chip and Dale return in this animation on Disney+. Release date: May 20. 
Ayinla; The 2021 semi-biopic about Ayinla Omowura’s life directed by Tunde Kelani makes its Netflix debut on May 20. 
Dazzling Mirage; Tunde Kelani’s 2014 sick cell drama starring Lala Akindoju, Kunle Afolayan. Release date: May 25, on Netflix. 
The Wildflower; Biodun Stephen is the director of this second major Nollywood title in cinemas starting this month. Release date: May 27.
