The upcoming season is set to be a star-studded one.

The first season of Little Black Book told the story of Tade (Teniola Aladese), a brilliant business developer trying to get her life back on track after series of failures and Leo (Ikechukwu Onunaku), a millionaire hotel entrepreneur defying the odds to keep his business in the green and a little black book of gorgeous women, unfolding truths and hidden desires between them. The season ended with Aladese’s Tade and Onunaku’s Leo growing feelings for each other but fighting it off to strictly maintain a business relationship in what was well-acclaimed chemistry between the two stars.

Other cast members of the first season are Oreka Godis, Anee Icha, Floyd Igbo, Chimela Azurunwa, Kiki Omeli, Jeffrey Kanu, and Omoye Uzamere.

The highly-anticipated second season is set to also welcome new faces behind the scenes. Marycolette Matiki joins Dadzie as the script writers, while Adaugo Uzoma (Juju Stories) replaces Lydia Idakula Sobogun as producer and John Adams remains as D.O.P.

Details concerning the plot of the upcoming season are being kept under wraps. But Kanayo O. Kanayo will play Captain Igwe, Leo’s estranged father who is behind the 20 Billion naira investment. Bimbo Akintola’s character remains a mystery, but a statement by TNC Africa promises that “she’s coming with all the sizzling drama this season needs” in a season that will only get “better” and “bigger”, in what would be “a fine blend of the old and young, in accordance with TNC Africa’s goal of sourcing the best talents to tell truly original African stories.”

In other burning questions, which viewers must have been holding since a year of the first season’s final episode, Tade and Leo will be trying to keep things strictly business between themselves, but how long can they last before being drawn to lock lips again. And who is behind the mystery anonymous gifts received by Mr. Leo Igwe? TNC Africa might just be teasing more mayhem.

We also have Dami (Anee Iche) and Cris (Floyd Igbo), who have left us wondering if they will get back together. To the main source of curiosity surrounding the whole series, the significance of “the little black book of Mr. Leo’s activities” will be revealed.
