Although the plot of the new season of Little Black Book is quite hush hush, we recall that the teaser released last month hinted at a lot of steam from our lead characters Leo, played by Ikechukwu Onunaku and Tade, played by AMVCA Trailblazer winner Teniola Aladese. But these two lives would, however, not be the only stories explored in the coming season as the unveiled character posters provide more insight into the new cast members joining the upcoming season; Kanayo O. Kanayo (Living in Bondage: Breaking Free) who would be playing Captain and Bimbo Akintola (Afrocity) as Idara.

The first season of Little Black Book told the story of Tade, a brilliant business executive trying to get her life back on track after a series of failures, and Leo, a millionaire hotel entrepreneur defying the odds to keep his business in the green, and a little black book of gorgeous women, unfolding truths and hidden desires between them.

Other actors joining the new season include Nengi Adoki (Juju Stories) as well as her co-star Paul Utomi, who also recently appeared with Bimbo Akintola in the web series Afrocity Season 2, Michael Ejoor (Grey Roses), Jude Chukwuka (A Naija Christmas), Moet Abebe (Living Arrangement) and Helena Nelson (MTV Shuga).

The Belinda Yanga Adegah-directed series is an adaptation of Sally Kenneth Dadzie’s book of the same name, which she adapted and co-wrote with Abasi Ogba.
The highly-anticipated second season is set to also welcome new faces behind the scenes. Marycolette Matiki joins Dadzie as the scriptwriter, while Adaugo Uzoma (Juju Stories) replaces Lydia Idakula Sobogun as producer and John Adams remains as D.O.P.
