Gingerrr
An action-comedy about four women who come together for a high-risk heist to change their lives. Their shared mission slowly turns complicated as secrets begin to surface and trust breaks down. Directed by Yemi Morafa, the 2025 film is executive produced by Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, Bisola Aiyeola, Wumi Toriola and Bolaji Ogunmola, who also star alongside Timini Egbuson, Odunlade Adekola and Lateef Adedimeji. It also got 9 nominations at the 2026 AMVCAs. Gingerrr is set for release on Netflix and Kava.

Call of My Life
Soluchi (Uzoamaka Power) is trying to move on after a breakup when a work call connects her with Eli (Andrew Bunting). Their interaction develops into a relationship that forces her to rethink her emotional decisions and how she rebuilds her life after heartbreak. Written by Uzoamaka Power and directed by Dammy Twitch in his feature debut, Call of My Life also stars Zubby Michael, Beverly Osu, Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwo and Justin ‘UG’ Ugonna. The Bluhouse Studios-produced romcom premieres in cinemas.
Strong
Dimbo and Karachi Atiya’s Strong follows Lami Sawa, a respected architect and spiritual mentor whose marriage begins to collapse after her husband, Sota Sawa, is accused of infidelity and murder. Starring Sophie Alakija, Chris Okagbue, the drama will be in cinemas.
The Boy Who Gave
Directed, written, produced and led by Allison Precious Emmanuel, the film follows Idah, a teenager in Bonny Island who is forced into adulthood after the death of his parents. He takes on the responsibility of caring for his younger siblings while trying to survive daily pressures and protect what remains of his family. Other cast members include Tina Mba, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Abbey Delight Dagogo, Hart Andrew, and Chuks Joseph. Watch the debut feature in Nigerian cinemas.
The Fisherman
Zoey Martinson’s comedy follows Atta Oko, an ageing fisherman in Ghana whose life changes when he partners with a talking fish in a bid to return to the sea in a world that has moved on from him, with younger people using new systems he doesn’t fully understand. Starring Ricky Adelayitar, William Lamptey, and Endurance Dzigbordi Dedzo, the comedy premiered at the 2024 Venice Film Festival and also screened at AFRIFF 2025. Coming to cinemas in Nigeria.
