Watch Teaser: Wole Ojo, Broda Shaggi and Nedu Wazobia to Star in ‘Inside Life’, From ‘King of Thieves’ Co-Director

In a debut release from Sillo Studios, Inside Life follows the story of an about-to-wed who is wrongly remanded in prison a few days before his wedding. He not only has to get out of the prison on time to make his wedding, but he also has to learn to survive the conditions in prison and get out alive. In anticipation of the film’s premiere on September 9, characters posters and a teaser (watch below) have been released.

In the tensed nighttime set 50-sec teaser, a group of passengers is ambushed by a group of unknown men which ends with one of them being shot dead in the presence of the horrified co-passengers played by Samuel A. Perry aka Broda Shaggi (Dwindle) and Funsho Adeolu (The Perfect Arrangement). Inspired by a true story, the dramedy will also star Wole Ojo (Coming From Insanity) as Larry, Nedu Wazobia (Chief Daddy 2) as Funky Yaro, Tina Mba (Breaded Life), Belinda Effah (Fine Wine), Hafiz ‘Saka’ Oyetoro, and Romeo Without Juliet as Presido.

Shot in Lagos and Ibadan, Inside Life is directed by Tope Adebayo (King of Thieves) and produced by Chuks Enete, who managed ROK studio’s first drama series Festac Town. The Director of Photography is Idowu Adedapo who has worked on 2022 commercial hit Yoruba epic King of Thieves, EbonyLife’s Oloture and Kemi Adetiba’s KOB 1.
